Amazon is offering an average discount of 50% on Amazon Transport Partner Programme fees for a promotional period of one year (starting on 12 April 2022). This applies to domestic shipments sent to logistics centres in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.

In the shipping fee price list, new size and weight categories will be introduced and others removed to better reflect shipping costs. For small products, standard size products and oversize products, Amazon will use the higher of unit or volume weight to determine the weight class for shipping charges.

Amazon is increasing return and disposal fees to reflect the increased cost of these services. Liquidation fees remain unchanged and are lower than disposal or return fees. Amazon is also increasing storage fees for all standard-sized products, excluding hazardous materials.

In addition to the current long-term storage fees for inventory stored for more than 365 days, Amazon is introducing a lower long-term storage fee for inventory stored between 331 and 365 days. Clothing, shoes, bags, luggage, watches and jewellery are excluded. Amazon recommends that customers review their old inventory in the warehouse and take steps to sell off these products before the 331-day period expires and avoid these fees (for example, through offers, liquidations or sponsored products).
