Amazon update with many opportunities


Amazon launched a new feature in the Stores section a few days ago: The Store Versions. From now on, it is possible for both sellers and vendors to create different versions of the brand store and to plan their publication strategically. We will summarize the possibilities that open up for you in the following.


The main advantage of the new store variants: You can optimally prepare your Amazon presence for product launches, temporary/seasonal promotions or design updates. For example, you can set up extra stores with particularly relevant articles for the Christmas season. With the help of these versions, you can easily adapt your store and guarantee that the pages always remain up-to-date. 

Now learn how to proceed step by step and what you need to pay attention to.


Step 1: Create new version 

Amazon Attribution enables the tracking of digital marketing measures such as email campaigns, social media ads, display ads, or search ads. With the analysis console, marketing activities can be measured and analyzed across different channels and optimization approaches for the Amazon business can be derived.

Step 2: Edit versions

You can now create new pages within the version or edit existing ones. This works as usual with the self-service Store Builder. For example, add videos, texts and images to show your products in action and tell the story about your brand.


Step 3: Publish

Once you are done editing your store, you can "Send for Publication" the version. Once you receive approval, you can publish it immediately or schedule it for a future date. This schedule can be edited or deleted at any time.

You should keep the following details in mind when scheduling stores:

Note that they set the end date of the store so that customers do not see outdated information. A Christmas store should also be taken offline directly after Christmas.


Also, if you are promoting promotions within the store version, you should ensure that the store goes offline when the promotion has also expired. The same applies to the promotions that advertise an event-based version.
